Not long ago, I received a call from a person seeking disability. I asked her if she already had a representative or company she was currently working with. She said “I don’t know.” How, I asked did she not know?
She told me she may have signed some paperwork with a large firm but was not sure since she had called at least 13 times with no response. Skeptical, I said, you called 13 times and left messages but got no response. Yes, she said, no response.
A few days later, she called to say, the company called to say, they had received paperwork stating her case was denied and she needed to appeal her case and give them a receipt that her paperwork was filed. Again, shocked that they would collect a fee when/if she was approved and had done almost nothing to help her.
Mission Possible strives to maintain communication throughout the entire process. We answer our phones. If not the same day, within 48 hours. We assist you with filing the initial application or appeal(s) as needed.
We want to help you with your work history report and function reports. We communicate with Social Security to check on your case and keep you informed. We ask the same of our clients. We ask that you keep us updated on new medical, tests, changes of medications or your medical/psychological condition. We want to know when you’ve been hospitalized, where and for how long. We keep Social Security informed of your case developments. Many times, we speak directly to your adjudicator to see if we can help them with your case.
While we are not perfect, we do make the effort to keep the lines of communication open. We will answer your calls. If not, please call us again. It is our goal to work with you, to help you achieve disability. It’s a two-way street, we also expect to hear from you. If we can’t find you when it comes time for a hearing, we may need to drop your case. However, that only happens after multiple attempts to locate you. Please call us and we will answer or return your call. Customer service is important to us.
